Metstrip AK3491 is a liquid additive designed to upgrade alkaline cleaning solutions with effective paint stripping performance. Formulated with highly active ingredients, it tackles resilient contamination such as carbonised deposits, resins and degraded polymers, while aiding the removal of most paint coatings including polyester and epoxy finishes. Suitable for use on a range of substrates including aluminium and steel (dependent on the base cleaner), it doses easily as a liquid and enhances overall cleaning efficiency. Typical use is at 20% v/v of the base solution, and it may be pre‑mixed 1:1 with water to assist dispersion. Ideal for process cleaning and maintenance operations where stronger soil and coating removal is required within an alkaline system.
