Metstrip SV3451 is an acid-activated, solvent-based paint stripper formulated for component immersion. Based on chlorinated solvents with organic acids, a wax evaporation retardant and detergents, it rapidly strips even highly polymerised paint finishes. Designed for use in immersion tanks, its wax seal minimises solvent evaporation and lowers vapour levels, while the detergent package ensures fast, clean rinsing. Effective at ambient temperature, it removes coatings without the need for heating. Suitable for use in paint shops and reconditioning operations. Applicable to all metals except zinc alloys, which may be lightly etched, and magnesium, which can be seriously affected; care is also advised on resin, plastic and rubber substrates.
