Removes grease and oil from metal components in immersion tank processes. A concentrated, water‑miscible solvent/alkali cleaner effective on a wide range of soils. Use at 15–25% in hot water (60–70°C), then pressure rinse for a clean finish. Suitable where flammable solvents cannot be used.

Metsoak EM3949 is a water‑miscible solvent/alkali degreaser formulated for immersion tanks and general plant cleaning. Blending caustic alkali, hydrocarbon solvents and advanced surfactants, it penetrates and lifts oils and grease from all types of metal components. It is particularly useful in areas of high fire risk where flammable solvents cannot be used. For immersion processes, dilute 15–25% in water and heat to 60–70°C, immerse until soils are penetrated, then drain and pressure rinse. For general cleaning, apply at similar concentrations in hot water, allow around five minutes contact, agitate and rinse well. Concentrated and economical, it is effective across a wide range of soils, helping reduce the need for multiple products. Note: may dull aluminium, zinc and their alloys.
