Orabond Black is a flexible, single-component black adhesive and sealant based on hybrid polymer technology for reliable bonding and sealing across a wide range of materials. Silicone-free and odourless, it offers higher tensile, tear and shear strength than conventional silicones and polyurethanes. It adheres strongly to wood, concrete, glass, metals, plastics and more – even under complete water immersion. The formulation resists oils, greases, solvents, alcohols and diluted acids and bases, and remains elastic to withstand vibration. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it tolerates UV and weathering and can be overpainted, including with water-based paints. It is also compatible with powder coating cures at 210°C for 10 minutes and may be used on items intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. One 290 ml cartridge yields up to 11 m of 5 x 5 mm joints.
