Joint Metal is a single-component, acetic silicone adhesive sealant designed for bonding and sealing across metals and most other materials. The thixotropic, aluminium grey compound creates thick, flexible joints that resist vibration and remain stable over time. It adheres almost immediately, offers a fast initial set, and reaches full cure within 24 hours, delivering high elongation and strong elastic recovery. Ideal for construction and mechanical maintenance, it is particularly suited to sealing covers and oil crankcases, even where gaps or backlash are present. The formulation is highly resistant to oils, hydrocarbons and greases, and is economical in use as only a thin bead is required.
