Metprotect WB3718 is a water-based protective coating formulated with waxes to deliver medium to long-term rust protection for equipment, components and finished vehicles in storage or transit. It dries to a thin, smooth, dry-to-touch wax film that protects exposed metal and is safe on painted, plastic and rubber surfaces. The solvent-free, non-flammable formulation is eco-friendly and does not contribute to VOC, making it suitable for spray application in production and logistics environments. WB3718 can also be applied by brush to ensure full coverage. Initial drying is typically achieved within 30 minutes, with full dry in 24 hours; warm air can accelerate this. When protection is no longer needed, the coating is easily removed using mildly alkaline pressure washing detergents.
