Metclean DX4843 is a liquid, chromate free deoxidiser for aluminium and aluminium alloys. The carefully selected blend of mineral acids, complexing agents and activators remove oxide smut and corrosion restoring a clean bright finish to components. It can be used to remove natural oxide formation from aluminium in preparation for further treatment, or for the rapid removal of stubborn heat scale resulting from welding and heat treatment processes.

Metclean DX4843 is a flexible formulation that is suitable for application by low misting spray or in immersion tanks. The liquid formulation is fully compatible with automated dosing systems. It is economical to use and can be readily diluted to suit a range of applications.

Metclean DX4843 is compatible with most aluminium and aluminium alloys. It is particularly useful for treating the high silicone aluminium alloys typically used in aluminium casting.
