Metfin MN3550 is a concentrated acid-based product designed to produce iron-modified, manganese phosphate coatings on iron and steel surfaces. Manganese phosphate coatings provide outstanding corrosion and wear resistance suitable for a wide range of applications. They can also impart anti-scuffing properties to sliding surfaces such as gears, cam shafts and cylinder rings.

Metfin MN3550 is suited for engineering applications where wear resistance and dimensional tolerance characteristics are important making it the ideal choice for treating parts machined to a fine tolerance.

Metfin MN3550 is compatible with a wide range of oils, waxes and resin coatings which can be used to enhance the long-term wear resistance of components.
