Metprotect SV3703 is a dewatering fluid, leaving a thin, dry-to-touch, corrosion resistant, transparent film. It is normally used by dip application, but where this is not convenient, brush or spray methods may be used.

Where components treated with Metprotect SV3703 have to be subsequently painted, there is usually no necessity to remove the protective film. 

Metprotect SV3703 is suitable for dewatering and sealing of phosphated or chemically blacked surfaces. Conforms to the requirements of BS 1133 Section 6 “Temporary protection of metal surfaces against corrosion”.
