Metspray AF8801 is a silicone-free antifoam designed for use with metalworking coolants and aqueous cutting fluids. This concentrated blend disperses readily in emulsions and solutions to control foam effectively, helping to reduce drag-out with swarf and limit deposition on components and machinery. It is compatible with most painting, plating and pre-treatment processes such as phosphating, and does not normally cause the adhesion problems associated with silicone-based de-foamers. Simple to dose at 0.05% to 0.5% according to foaming severity, it offers low application costs and reliable performance in production environments. Supplied in 4 x 5 litre packs.
