Metspray AK3805 is a heavy duty alkaline liquid cleaner designed to remove contamination and corrosion typically encountered in the engineering, manufacturing, and reconditioning industries. It contains a powerful blend of caustic alkalis and sequestrants designed to penetrate areas of heavy contamination and remove soils including rust, oil, oxidised grease, paint, and engine deposits. The concentrated formulation has been designed to provide a stable, long lasting working solution that will continue to provide excellent cleaning performance well beyond the life of similar products. This makes it the ideal choice for processes with high through put and large-scale projects.

Metspray AK3805 is a flexible formulation that can be applied by spray or used for immersion cleaning. It is economical to use and can be readily diluted to suit a range of applications. It can be used at ambient temperatures or heated up to 95°C to increase penetration on areas with heavy contamination.

Metspray AK3805 is suitable for use on ferrous metals however it is not generally suitable for use on non-ferrous metals which may be corroded by extended contact.
