Metspray AK3801 is an alkaline spray wash detergent designed to remove oils, greases and medium duty soils typically encountered in engineering and manufacturing environments. It combines powerful detergents and wetting agents that can effectively cut through stubborn soils to leave a clean degreased surface ready for painting or other surface treatments. The built-in amine corrosion inhibitor offers short term protection against future corrosion making it the perfect cleaner for inter stage cleaning applications.

Metspray AK3801 has been specifically designed to be used in spray wash plants and the liquid formulation is compatible with automatic dosing equipment. It is economical to use and can be readily diluted to suit a range of applications. It can be used at ambient temperatures or heated up to 80°C to increase penetration on areas with heavy contamination.

Metspray AK3801 contains a specially designed corrosion inhibition package that makes it compatible with most sensitive metals. It is not suitable for use on copper or copper alloys which will undergo severe attack on contact.
