Metspray AK3803 is a low caustic alkaline spray wash detergent designed to remove oils, greases, and medium duty soils typically encountered in engineering and manufacturing environments. It contains powerful detergents and wetting agents that effectively cut through stubborn soils to leave a clean, degreased surface. The low caustic content makes it suitable for use on sensitive metals, and the built-in amine corrosion inhibitor offers short-term protection against future corrosion, making it ideal for inter-stage cleaning applications.

Metspray AK3803 has been specifically designed for use in spray wash plants, and the liquid formulation is compatible with automatic dosing equipment. It is economical to use and can be readily diluted to suit a range of applications. It can be used at ambient temperatures or heated up to 80°C to increase penetration on heavily contaminated areas.

The specially designed corrosion inhibition package makes it compatible with most sensitive metals. It is not suitable for use on copper or copper alloys, which will undergo severe attack on contact.
