Metspray AK3828 is a powdered alkaline spray wash detergent suitable for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It has been designed as a 100% active powder that is typically dissolved in water to produce a working solution that can be applied via spraywash. It contains a concentrated blend of advanced surfactants, alkalis and wetting agents that provide outstanding penetration and cleaning performance on ingrained and baked on soils.

Metspray AK3828 has been designed for application by spray wash or immersion and can be used with or without a final rinse stage. It is economical to use and can be readily diluted to suit a range of applications. It can be used at ambient temperatures or heated up to 80°C to increase penetration on areas with heavy contamination.

Metspray AK3828 is a flexible formulation that is suitable for use on most metals and alloys including aluminium, zinc, and ferrous metals. It contains advanced corrosion inhibitors which effectively protect ferrous metals from future corrosion when used without rinsing. These corrosion inhibitors also protect light alloys and mixed metals against attack during the cleaning process. It is not recommended for use on copper or copper alloys which may be corroded on contact.
