Metclean AD5800 is a concentrated acidic liquid formulation used to increase the free acidity of iron and zinc phosphate working solutions. It is specially designed to allow users to adjust the total and free acid levels of working solutions to maintain optimum conditions for conversion coating. Metclean AD5800 is intended for use alongside the METFIN range of phosphating products and is fully compatible with both the conversion coating range and associated treatment additives. Its concentrated formulation provides an effective method of maintaining a wide range of treatment setups. The product is compatible with the Orapi range of automatic dosing pumps, allowing for automated control of system pH. It can also be dosed manually, providing maximum flexibility in maintaining working solutions. Metclean AD5800 is a highly acidic material; caution should be taken before use.
