Metspray AK3851 is a caustic free, medium duty spray wash detergent powder designed to remove lubricant residues, swarf, and baked-on soils typically found in manufacturing and reconditioning industries. It is a 100% active powdered product containing a special blend of mild alkalis, advanced surfactants, and wetting agents that penetrate and remove most commonly encountered soils, leaving a clean, residue-free finish.

Metspray AK3851 is suitable for use on ferrous metals, copper, and brass. Where a slight etch is not critical, it can also be used on sensitive metals including aluminium, zinc, and their alloys. Care should be taken to ensure components are not exposed for too long. The degree of etch depends on product concentration, solution temperature, and contact time, and it is recommended that testing is carried out to determine material compatibility prior to use.
